Workaround for MacOSX gatekeeper (OSX 10.10.4)
...
It seems that gatekeeper now applies tighter checks on
libraries dinamically linked from executables included
in a package.
This is a workaround until a proper solution is found.

Simply use pin 10 to reset the target. It works for all Arduino's and allows the same "ArduinoISP shield" to be used on all of them. Such a shield has an ISP connector that: - wires MISO,MOSI, SCK, GND and 5V to the ISP connector of the programming Arduino - wires RESET to pin 10 of the programming Arduino.

Avoid delay in heartbeat. That way we can also set the baudrate back to the value used in the IDE. In fact, with this fix, baud rates of up to 115200 work also.

Also upgrading appbundler with a patched version: https://bitbucket.org/ffissore/appbundler It allows to know the current working directory
These two put together, we can now rely on APP_DIR when loading IDE resources while being sure current working directory is properly set, thus being much more friendly when run from CLI

In the example is stated that the function is run between one loop and the next, but actually the call to the function was missing.
The comment also state that the response can be delayed using a delay in the loop,so I think that the way it should be is so by only
adding a call to the function serialEvent as first operation in the loop. I so added this call.

Platform.txt in-memory rewrite rules: whenever loaded, if a property is set to a value known to be wrong/old, that property is replaced with the current/right value.
...
This happens in-memory, no platform.txt file were harmed during rewriting
