GitHub's note to read CONTRIBUTING.md during the issue creation process is a bit too easy to ignore. The text of the ISSUE_TEMPLATE.md file is added directly to the issue body text input field, making this note impossible to miss. It is hoped this will increase compliance with the Contributing Rules.

Arduino is an open-source physical computing platform based on a simple I/O board and a development environment that implements the Processing/Wiring language. Arduino can be used to develop stand-alone interactive objects or can be connected to software on your computer (e.g. Flash, Processing and MaxMSP).
