This was an inefficient way to supply data to the DataTable in an array that was out of order and the client-side would reorder the arrays into what was needed. The way to do this now is to use mData and JSON objects rather than arrays, as it provides much greater flexibility without a performance hit on the client-side. ...

Note: _fnColumnOrdering is left in place at the moment, although it may be updated as work progresses on 1.10 with regard to the increased use of column names.
